***MEETING NOTICE***
There are two upcoming meetings that are important for our community.
The first of which is the Hearing Officer’s Hearing for the proposed Osprey Pointe development on Turkey Point Road.
2/19 @ 2pm Located in the Jefferson Building (105 W. Chesapeake Avenue, Room 205 – Towson, MD 21204)
The second is a Meeting of the Rockaway Beach Improvement Association, scheduled for 2/15 @ 7:30pm at Eastern Yacht Club.
Several zoning and development issues will be discussed, along with elections and budget approval for 2015 FY. Please plan to attend!
Membership dues are now due! they are $20/ per household

RBIA Community History Luncheon – Part II
After the overwhelming success of our history luncheon this past March, and the strong desire from the community for me to put together another, we have scheduled the “sequel” for January 17th at Eastern Yacht Club. Topics will be a fresh set of local historical interest items. We hope to have some new panelists at the front of the room, with a few returning because their knowledge spans across many areas of local history. The event will again be catered by Norris Seafood. Tickets are $15 each and must be purchased in advance- NO tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket price includes lunch (crab cake sliders, shrimp salad sliders, potato salad, MD crab soup, chips, and dessert- drinks will also be provided).
